Florida West Coast Charters is owned and operated by Captain Scott Gottscho, a Tampa Bay area native who has been fishing the waters of the Tampa Bay area his entire life. Captain Scott is well known for his knowledge of fishing the waters around Tarpon Springs. He will do his best to insure that your fishing experience is the best it can be. We all need to remember the first thing about enjoying your trip is HAVE FUN & ENJOY YOURSELF, then everything falls into place . Captain Scott Gottscho is a USCG licensed captain.
The charter boat is a 2005 22ft Pathfinder Bay Boat with an 250hp Yamaha V-max, specifically designed for the flats and near shore waters of Tarpon Springs and the intercostal waterways of the surrounding areas. The boat is equipped with the latest safety and electronics and we use only the finest light tackle gear that is perfectly matched to catch the targeted fish.
